10/25/14 Michigan stallions from the 80's to the present

As promised, the last segment of Mich-tober looks at some of the wonderful stallions we have standing here in Michigan.  Earlier this month touched on  Saddlebred stallions from the 1930's to the 1960's, and in this last week of October examines more modern stallions.  Several have made the sire ratings lists, and some are World Champion sires.  Michigan has had some wonderful choices available if you're looking for a breeding stallion.

That wraps up Michigan month.  Hope everyone enjoys the great horses from Michigan's past
and present.  It is interesting to note that a trio of these stallions trace back on their dam line
to that great broodmare, Wild Wind.
Northern Blues, Kalarama's Spanish Dancer and Who's On First share
a similar bottom line.  More on this matron in upcoming posts.
