7/26/16 More on Longview's Supreme and his son Titleist

Last week's post featured Longview's Supreme, a breeding son of Valley View Supreme.  Unlike some of Valley View Supreme's other sons, Longview's Supreme didn't get much opportunity at stud until he was older, and only averaged about 5 colts per year.  Despite this handicap, he sired many good show horses.  After completing the post, of course I stumbled across several more good offspring which are pictured here.  This week also looks at one of Longview's Supreme's best breeding sons, the beautiful Titleist.

CH Chat
Chat was also pictured in the previous post as a 3 gaited gelding.
Here he is in fine harness when he was still a stallion.

CH Cynthia's Party Punch
This mare was a World's Champion 5 gaited pony, and also a World's Champion
as a Ladies 5 Gaited horse.   Her dam was by Denmark's Rhythm King.

Diamond Kite
This gelding was a World's Champion as a 3YO. in the pleasure division.

CH Enlightening
This WC 5gaited gelding also appeared in the last post, but this is a better picture.

One of Longview's Supreme's best offspring was Titleist.  He was a 4 time World's champion in the 5 gaited division, winning  the 3 year old class in 1978, Junior Stallion/Gelding class in 1979 and the 5 Gaited Stallion Stake in both 1980 and 1981. After his show days were over, he had a lengthy career at stud and sired some successful show horses.   Shown below are four nice pictures of  Titleist, and a couple of his CHampion offspring.

CH Title Bound
In 2008, he was World's Champion of Champions
in the 5 Giated Ladies Amateur division.
His dam was a granddaughter of CH Greenway Comander.
Ch Titleist Right Tonight
This gelding was a World's Champion  5 gaited Pleasure Horse
and was out of Peppermint Classic by Folly's Supreme Dream.

And then there is a horse named Too Much Titleist.  In his 3 generation pedigree, Titleist appeared 3 times.  His son Titleist Memory was this horses' double grandsire and also appearing on his pedigree was Titleist Dynamite, Titleist Cindarella and Titleist Forget Me Not.  No doubt about it, this horse was appropriately named!
